Fall Intensives

6 Week Hula Hoop Intensive

Taught by Lila Celeste, this six week intensive is designed for those looking to learn the basics to the art of hula hooping, flow, and create a sequence to present before an audience for the Circus Christmas Showcase on Saturday, December 19th.

Each week students will learn a new skill while continuing to perfect previously learned skills that will develop into a beautifully crafted, but short, routine.

This intensive is perfect for beginners but all levels are welcome. Some skills you can expect to work on include basic waist hooping, hand hooping, and off body tricks while working to present all in a flowing rhythm. If you have some experience hooping or an advanced hooper, your sequence could be modified as needed.

Students will piece together a Christmas themed costume.

Ages 9+ and adult

Start: Thursday, November 5th at 6:30 PM reoccurring every week for 1 hour (minus Thanksgiving) until Thursday, December 17th.

Includes access to Open Gym.

6 Week Juggling Intensive

Taught by Nick Hanson, this 6 week intensive is for those looking to learn the basics by building onto tricks each week to present their newly acquired skills before an audience during our Circus Christmas Showcase, Saturday, December 19th. In the early weeks, students will learn foundational juggling technique to toss 1, 2, and 3 balls! As the session progresses, students will build a short sequence as a group. This intensive is perfect for beginners but all levels are welcome! If you have some experience juggling or an advanced juggler, your sequence could be modified as needed.

Ages 9+

Start: Thursday, November 5th at 6:00pm reoccurring every week for 1 hour (minus Thanksgiving) until Thursday, December 17th.

Price: $95 per student

5 Week Mommy and Me Circus Sampler

Mommy and baby artists will explore hula hoops, aerial silks, lyra, trapeze, and light scarf juggling in a choreographed routine to perform before an audience in our Circus Christmas Showcase, Saturday, 10/19!

NO experience needed. The 5 week session focuses on play & exploration with various types of equipment to learn a short and sweet aerial and floor sequence that is sure to adore all! This is a low-impact session! No climbing, aerial dropping, or excessive jumping or leaping will not be in the routine.

The pair will be duo partners with the Moms leading the way, guiding Littles to each spot and apparatus in the choreography.
Depending on comfort, confidence, and progression, we may kick it up a tiny notch to add an extra adorable show stopper trick.

Young ones must be 3 or 4 years old.

When you register for your child, it will automatically include 1 adult.

6 Week Youth Aerial Silks Intensive

This is our second round of the silk intensive for youth students! In this 6 weeks series, students will work toward piecing together 4-6 skills in a fluid sequence to be performed independently before an audience at our Circus Christmas Showcase on Saturday, December 19th! Beginner Students can expect to work from the ground using various knots and locks; Intermediate to advanced students can anticipate adding to their current repertoire while creating an act off the ground entirely (i.e., expected to climb to execute at least half of their sequence.)

Open Air sessions are included for extra training time. Attending Open Air is not required to participate in the Intensive; however, it is encouraged!

Artists are permitted to select their own Christmas themed music.

Silk performers will be angels in the show. Since artists will provide their own costumes for the showcase, they may piece together as they choose.

6 Week Youth Trapeze & Lyra Intensive

Students will work on skills to create an individual sequence to perform in our Circus Christmas Showcase. Students will explore both apparatuses in the first 2 weeks to decide which they will select for the show. Beginners will work on ground work, light spins and skill transitions from below the bars, and 1-2 skills from above the bars so long as they feel comfortable. Intermediate-advanced students can expect to fine tune their current repertoire as well as add new skills to blend eloquently.

Open Air sessions included! Attending Open Air is not required to participate in the Intensive; however, it is encouraged!

Artists are permitted to select their own Christmas themed music.

Costuming will be Christmas themed, but will vary depending on which apparatus the student chooses to perform on.
